Open Circuits SF: September 2026
Beginner Electronics Workshops in San Francisco: September and October 2026
Open Circuit SF runs small, hands-on electronics workshops in San Francisco. No experience required. Tools and parts are provided, and you leave with something you built and understand well enough to keep going on your own.
Two sessions are coming up.
Programming LEDs, Thursday, September 17, 2026
Write code that drives addressable LEDs from an ESP32-C3 microcontroller: colors, brightness, and simple animations. Bring a laptop. This is the natural next step after the soldering class and the foundation for the sensor and Home Assistant workshops we're planning next.

Intro to Soldering, Thursday, October 1, 2026
The same beginner soldering class, repeated for anyone who missed the September session. Class sizes are small so everyone gets bench time and one-on-one help.

Want a workshop on something else?
We're building out sessions on sensors, buttons, IR receivers, Raspberry Pi, and Home Assistant. If there's a topic you want covered, or you'd like to bring a group, email contact@opencircuitsf.com.
See you at the bench.
